This history preserves the anonymized wording and earlier written responses in the imported project records. Earlier responses may describe a previous design or contain wording now under review. Use the linked consolidated question for the current response status.

A source record can contain several questions. These records are not a count of individual submissions or people. Original messages and dates are still being reconciled; this history does not establish that every project submission has been captured.

Public Community Meeting #1 Β· July 8, 2026What if we shoot it?

Earlier published response

The steel enclosure has an IP66/NEMA 3R weather rating to prevent dust and water ingress, but it is not armored. A gunshot will likely pierce the skin. If a puncture breaches the cells, it triggers an internal short. This initiates a sequence identical to a standard internal cell defect. The Battery Management System automatically isolates the unit, and standard site safety protocols manage the response. We address physical security threats through site-hardening measures, including secure perimeter fencing, 24/7 camera monitoring, setbacks, and vehicle barrier bollards.

How the issues were handled

A written response is recorded. Sending an individual reply, considering feedback, and making a design change require separate evidence.
